Woodrow A. Gilliland

Mr. Woodrow A. Gilliland, age 58, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Valley Nursing Center in Taylorsville, North Carolina.  The son of the late Ervin A. and Willane Hart Gilliland, he was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on December 29, 1961.

An avid fisherman who enjoyed camping, Woodrow is survived by one daughter, Summer Gilliland; one son, Erik Gilliland; one sister, Darlene Burleson (Clinton); one brother, Steve Gilliland; and eight grandchildren. 

A gather of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory in Marion.
