Wilma Louise Mahan Smith

Wilma Louise Mahan Smith, age 83, of Lytle Mountain Road in Marion, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at her home.

Born on July 17, 1942 in Wise County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Carson and Mary Shepherd Mahan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister; Pam Andrews and her brothers; Charles and David Mahan.

Wilma was retired from Leviton. She loved spending time with her family and hearing them laughing and enjoying their time spent together. She enjoyed working in her yard, working outdoors and taking care of her home, both inside and outside.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband; A.C. Smith, her son; Brian Creed Smith and wife, Lisa, her daughter; Sherri Smith, her grandson; Brian Christopher Smith, friend of the family; Bridgette Plunk, her brothers; Jerry (Pat), Bobby, Billy and Andy Mahan, and her sister; Rita Allison.

Funeral services for Wilma Smith will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Home. Interment will be in the McDowell Memorial Park.
