William Craig Freeman

William Craig Freeman, 52, of North Port, Florida, formally of Marion, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 at his residence.

William was born in Buncombe Co. on August 24,1973 to Marcia Lowery Freeman and the late Kenneth Ray Freeman. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Dora Goins.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved his family dearly and treasured his time spent with them. Craig was formally employed with the NC Corrections Department but was currently employed by Lennar Homes in Sarasota Fl. 

Craig is survived by by his siblings, Kenneth Ray Freeman Jr., Cathy Freeman, Michael Freeman, Lorna, and Tansy Freeman along with a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
