Wanda Sue Brigman Smith

In the early morning of hours of Friday, September 24, 2021, Wanda Sue Brigman Smith passed away at Blue Ridge Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1955 in Newport, Tennessee to the late Billy and Mary Atkins Brigman.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ilene Brown.

Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother and was a hardworking lady who enjoyed helping those in need. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are one son, Robert P. Smith; four sisters, Patricia Hamrick, Jean Harbison, Bernice Willis, Linda Hamrick and one grandson, Adam P. Smith.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Murphy Chapel Cemetery.
