Wade Westall

Wade Westall, age 78, of Marion, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the McDowell Hospital.  A native of Yancey County, North Carolina, born January 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Eugene and Tee Robinson Westall. 

An avid sports fan, Wade had previously sold insurance with Charlotte Liberty Mutual and later retired from Drexel Heritage.  A veteran of the United States Navy, Wade enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son, Louis.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Bill Westall; and one sister, Juanita Butner.

He is survived by the love of his life, Coleen Westall Davis; one special son, Louis McKinney (Brittany); one stepdaughter, Jo Ann Mahan; his twin brother, Zade Westall; two sisters, Jenny Hewitt (Tom) and Betty Morris (Bill); three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
