Virginia loved feeding the squirrels and hummingbirds, and she was proud of her flowers. She will be remembered as being very humble and trustworthy and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert “Eugene” Plemmons, Kermith Buckner, and Clyde Royal; and her siblings, Fred Daye, Ray Daye, and Faye Webb.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Roy Webb; three children, Tim Plemmons (Margaret), Judy Bumgarner (Mike), and Samantha Cobun (Nick); six stepchildren, Keith Webb (Joyce), Lynn Pruett, Henrietta Boston Harrell (Larry), Cathy Dugger (Ronnie), Donna Bielski, and Patricia Hyatt; six grandchildren, Lance Camp, Tammy Burgart, Patti Johnson, Emily Elkins, Kevin Bumgarner, and Tanya Worley; 11 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and her special friend, Dorothy Caldwell.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 06, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Dean Owenby officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Yancey Street Baptist Church or a charity of one’s choice.
