Vicente Martinez Morales

Vicente “Chente” Martinez Morales, 53, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital.

He was born in Mexico on July 12, 1968.

Chente enjoyed being outdoors. He worked as a landscaper and will be remembered as a hard worker. Even after a hard day’s work, he always made time for his family and made sure they were taken care of. Chente enjoyed music and dancing, and he was an amazing cook. He will be remembered for the meals he prepared during the holidays. Chente was a very sweet, kind, loving, and funny man who will be missed.

He is survived by his three children, Kathy Arriola (Raul Juarez- son-in-law), Jehosua Martinez, and Kate Martinez as well as several siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Nació en México el 12 de julio de 1968.

Chente disfrutaba estar al aire libre. Trabajó en jardineria y será recordado como un gran trabajador. Incluso después de un duro día de trabajo, siempre hacía tiempo para su familia y se aseguraba de que estuvieran atendidos. Chente disfrutaba de la música y el baile, y era un cocinero increíble. Será recordado por las comidas que preparó durante los dias festivos. Chente era un hombre muy dulce, amable, cariñoso y divertido al que extrañaremos.

Le sobreviven sus tres hijos, Kathy Arriola (Raúl Juárez- yerno), Jehosua Martínez y Kate Martínez, así como varios hermanos.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo el lunes 27 de septiembre de 2021 a las 3:00 p.m. en el Servicio Funerario de la Capilla de Viga. La familia recibirá a los amigos desde las 2:00 hasta las 3:00 pm, una hora antes del servicio en la funeraria.
