Trudy Rumfelt

Trudy Rumfelt, 77, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on February 06, 2022.

She was born in McDowell County on March 1, 1944 to the late Willis Rube Rhom and Dorothy Mae Smalley.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Rumfelt, her son Darrell Rumfelt, her granddaughter Alicia Ramsey and her grandson Michael Rumfelt.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Rumfelt; 8 children, Debra Chambers, Terri Ramsey (David), Jeff Rumfelt, Joel Rumfelt (Claudia), Tater Ramsey, Casie McCartha, Kristin Rutherford, Kayla Rutherford (Ryan Price); nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 08, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at New Manna Baptist Church with Pastors Tony Shirley and Matt McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m.
