My name is Cynthia Lonon. I went to jail school with Mr. Cope. We sat beside each other for over 10 years in our roll call room at the sheriff's office. We were good friends and we loved each other. Mr. Cope loved everyone. I used to ask him every morning to please stop smoking. He would say gotta die from something but one day he told me he finally quit. He was undeniably a real good man and I had been trying to contact him since he retired from the sheriff's office to no avail. Found out today that he passed and I extend my deepest sincerest condolences to his family.
