Tracey Renee Parrish Smith

     Tracey Renee Parrish Smith, 54, of Morganton, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026, at her residence.

     Tracey was born in North Carolina on April 6, 1972, to the late Velva Marie Lambe Parrish and Dallas Ray Parrish. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores. Tracey was very mindful of fashion and had an appreciation for clothing, makeup, and jewelry. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will always be loved and will be greatly missed.

     In addition to her parents, Tracey was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Schylar Payne.

     She is survived by three children, Kirsten Smith, Lauren Smith, and Kaden Miller; a brother, Christopher Parrish; a grandson, Solen Payne; a granddaughter, Fynlee Payne; and her beloved dog, Beethoven.

     A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2026, at United Baptist Church in Valdese.
