Tommy "TJ" Wayne Harris, III

Tommy “TJ” Wayne Harris, III, 28, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in McDowell County on October 01, 1993 to Tommy Wayne Harris, Jr. and Kay Westmoreland Harris.

TJ was very talented at anything he set his mind to. The word entrepreneur describes TJ very well. He had a heart of gold and was all the time trying to help people. He never wanted anyone to go without. He loved fishing and spending time with his precious nephew.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mickey Westmoreland, Tom Harris, and Willis Greene.

In addition to his parents, Tommy Harris, Jr. and Kay Harris (Mike Ward), he is survived by his sister, Sarah Harris; his nephew, Virgil Harris; and his grandmothers, Wanda Dillingham and Frances Harris.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
