Timothy "Tim" Arrowood

Timothy “Tim” Arrowood, age 54, of the Clinchfield Community, while surrounded by his loving family, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 30, 2016 following a brief illness.  Having been the youngest child, he was the son of the late Maurice and Ollie Mae Messer Arrowood, and was a native of McDowell County, North Carolina born on May 04, 1962.

A loving father, grandfather and brother, Tim, up until his health began to decline, worked with family doing home construction improvements. Known to be a generous man, he enjoyed fishing and camping, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Calen Arrowood (Sigrid); four siblings, Shannon Arrowood (Bobby), Randy Arrowood (Dawn), Diane Lytle (Jim); and Steve Arrowood, two precious grandchildren, Chloe and Anora Arrowood; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Tim is also survived by a special son, Josh Wilson.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 03, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Temple Full Gospel Church with Revs. Randy Arrowood and Pete McCombs officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
