Thursia Germaine Bartlett Robinson, born October 1, 1942, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at her residence. She was a dedicated wife and devoted caregiver to her beloved husband, Albert Robinson, who predeceased her. Throughout her life, Thursia was an ardent lover of her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. She found joy in the simple pleasures of sitting on her deck, nurturing her flowers with care, and delighting in the sight of wild turkeys nearby.
Thursia’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to those she held dear. She shared a special bond with her sister, Maxine Bartlett; the two were each other’s best friend throughout their lives, a testament to their steadfast sibling connection. Thursia also leaves behind her devoted children: Franklin Robinson and his wife Belinda, Richard Robinson and his wife Derata, and Steven Robinson. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Donovan Robinson; Samuel Robinson and his wife Caitlin; Brandon Robinson and his wife Haley; Stephanie Tomlinson and her husband Eric; and Denise Rowe. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Madison Bell and her husband Daniel, Bryson Stafford, Sydney Davis, Sylus Davis, Sawyer Robinson, Ian Robinson, Walker Robinson, Liana Robinson, Emma Tomlinson, and Allison Tomlinson. Thursia is survived by her brother Dealo Bartlett, and her sister Maxine Bartlett.
Her parents, Coy Bartlett Sr. and Alma Elliott Bartlett, along with siblings Leo, Liston, Tulcie, Coy Jr., Lewin, Brenda Bartlett, and Annie Laura Hollifield, predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte Robinson.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 2170 Rutherford Rd., Marion, NC 28752. The funeral service will follow on the same day from 11:00 at the same location. Burial will take place immediately following the service at the Turkey Cove Cemetery.
Thursia Germaine Bartlett Robinson’s life was one of love, care, and dedication. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. She embodied grace and warmth, qualities that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
The family would like to thank Crystal, Sherry, Bunny and Jordan, for their love and care of mama, keeping her home and letting her care for you as you cared for her.
