Thomas Wesley Frank

Thomas Wesley Frank, lovingly known as “Moose,” passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 64. He was born on September 5, 1962, in Burke County.

Thomas will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend whose presence filled every room. He was the life of the party and was always the loudest in the room, bringing energy, laughter, and a spirit that drew people to him. He loved rock music and was a collector of Hot Wheels, interests that reflected his enthusiasm and joy for the things that made life fun. He also had a deep appreciation for hot rods and muscle cars, passions that were a memorable part of who he was.

Those who knew Thomas will remember his larger-than-life personality, his warmth, and the way he made ordinary moments more memorable simply by being himself. His love for his family and friends was an important part of his life, and his memory will be carried forward by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Moose is survived by his wife of 40 years Tammie Frank; his daughter Briana Mercedes Frank and her fiancé Summer "Bama" Leaman of Phenix City AL; sister in laws, Cindi Quincy of Lubbock Tx and Kim Lax and husband Russell of Springfield OR; Cassondra "Roo" Hedin and husband Sam; fur baby, Boogie; Grand Dogs, Le'Bron, Remi and Tuco; also many cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church, 5612 John Watts St, Morganton, NC 28655. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Darrin Brown and deacon Mike Lawson.

Thomas will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
