Therman Luther Lytle

Therman Luther Lytle 92, of Old Fort, North Carolina passed away at Charles George VA Medical Center on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

Therman was born on November 03, 1929 in McDowell County to the late Floyd Luther Lytle and Ella Mae Smith Lytle. He was a proud US Army Veteran and was a faithful and wise man who honored his beliefs. Therman was a hardworking man who drove a truck for over 27 years. He enjoyed coon and rabbit hunting but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family during vacation while camping.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Irene Owenby Lytle.

Those left to cherish his memory are two children; a daughter June L. Carter and a son Alvin Lytle; two grandchildren, Alexis Lytle and Kimberly Duncan (Richard) along with one great grandson, R.J. Duncan and his faithful and devoted companion pet "Delta".

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Cherry Springs Memorial Park with Dr. George Ellis and Dawi officiating. Military honors provided by the US Army will follow.
