Teresa Faye Ward Garner

 Teresa Faye Ward Garner, 65, of Marion, NC, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at Mission McDowell Hospital.

 Teresa was born on April 7, 1959, in Wilmington, NC, to the late Pearlie Mae Jones and Leon Ward, Sr. She was married to her husband of fifty years, Lester Wayne Garner, Sr. Teresa enjoyed painting, crafting, and working with her plants. She was a kindhearted dreamer and a free spirit. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will always be loved and missed. 

 In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Ward and Donny Taylor, Sr.; and two nieces, Tiffany Revis and Michelle Weeks. 

 Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Lester Garner, Sr.; three children, Lester Garner, Jr. (Brandy), Christina Garner, and Daniel Garner, Sr. (Trisha); a sister, Lisa Taylor; eight grandchildren, Briana, Tre’, Daniel, Jr., Kaleb, McKenna, Kyra, Braelyn, and Bryce; two great grandchildren, Maeson and Easton; two brothers-in-law, Milton Garner and Stephan Garner (Ellie), a special nephew, Donny Taylor, Jr.; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2025 at Beam Funeral Service.
