Tammy A. Reece

Tammy A. Reece, age 44, of Morganton, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.  A native of Florida, born February 26, 1971, Tammy was a loving wife, mother, nana and sister; and nothing made her happier than spending time with her precious grandchildren.  Tammy was a member of Summitt Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Reece; ten children, Mathew Harris, Christopher Reece, Khristal Reid, Dusty Harris, Kenneth Reece, Lucas Reece, Brittany Ferguson, Mary Ferguson, Amy Kingsley and Kate Kingsley; five siblings, Steve Williams, Elizabeth Bloom, Tommy Cobb, Teresa Thompson and Bobby Thompson; four grandchildren, Kayden Reid, Emery Edwards, Beau Harris and Abbi Harris.  A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at New Manna Baptist Church in Marion with Revs. Richard Merritt and Matt McDaniels officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., two hours prior to the service, at the church.
