Sybil Farr Williams

Sybil Farr Williams, 85, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

A native of McDowell County, she was born on March 06, 1937 to the late Kelly Farr and Dollie Patterson Farr.

Sybil attended Glenwood Baptist Church. Along with her husband, she was co-owner of The Courtyard at Little Acres. She was a member of the Kansas City BBQ Society. Sybil will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by five brothers, Warren Farr, Von Farr, Donald Farr, Billy Farr, and Jerry Farr; and a sister, Frankie Elliott.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael “Micky” L. Williams; three children, Tanya Raulerson (Paul), Michelle Loesekann, and Michael L. Williams II (Kim); six grandchildren, Paul Raulerson, Jr., Jessica Raulerson, Zachary Loesekann (Kasey), Michael L. Williams III (Katherine), Ashley Williams, and Josh Williams; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Glenda Burleson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Dennis Love officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
