Steven Carver Clark

Steven Carver Clark, 64, of Marion, departed this life on Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born on August 3, 1959 to the late Hoyle Alexander Clark and Jo Irene Swofford Clark.

Steven was a graduate of North Cove High School and North Carolina State University. He was in love with the mountains which he called home his entire life. He worked for many years with Drexel Enterprises, and he retired as a manager. An avid sports fan, fishing was Steve’s favorite pastime. He enjoyed working with wood, but most of all he was fiercely devoted to his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Bryant; his brother, Doug Clark (Wanda); and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring. The details will be announced once finalized.
