Stephen Michael Richards

Stephen Michael Richards passed away unexpectedly at home, leaving behind a heartbreak that words can barely express.

Stephen was a giant in every sense of the word, but his greatest strength was the kindness he carried in his heart. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and never hesitated to help someone in need. His love for his family ran deep, especially for his daughters, who were truly his pride and joy. He loved Leslie, Baileigh, and Madison to the moon and back, and they were the light of his life.

Stephen leaves behind a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though his passing was sudden, the love, laughter, and memories he gave so freely will live on forever. While his family grieves this unimaginable loss, there is comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his mother, Pam Richards, who recently passed before him.

He is survived by his father, Vernon Richards; his daughters, Leslie, Baileigh, and Madison; and Amy Richards, the mother of his daughters, and forever part of the family story they created together. He is also survived by his sisters, Kristina Blanton and her husband Dusty Blanton, and his eldest sister Carla Tompkins and her husband Cameron Tompkins.

He is also lovingly remembered by his niece, Destiny Finn, and his nephews, Trey Beverly, Tobias Finn, Brannon Blanton, and Zeke Blanton.

Stephen’s absence leaves a silence that cannot be filled, but his spirit, generosity, and enormous heart will never be forgotten.
