Stephen Louis Laskoski "Ja-Gee", a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his second residence in North Carolina on October 26, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on December 15, 1944, Stephen lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love.

Throughout his career, Stephen made a significant mark in the field of home construction, where he was widely recognized as a skilled craftsman. His colleagues and clients alike admired him for his attention to detail and commitment to quality. Stephen took immense pride in the homes he built.

Outside of his professional life, Stephen had a diverse range of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed gold mining, scuba diving, square dancing, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Each of these activities reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and he inspired those around him to embrace their passions with the same vigor he did.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Hayes Laskoski; his sons, Stephen Laskoski and his wife Jodie, and Luke Laskoski; as well as six cherished grandchildren: Cameron, Cody, Carter, Cecelia, Steven, and Dylan.
