I'm very sorry to hear about Sonny's death. It was a pleasure to assist him with his banking needs. Always enjoyed listening to him talk about his family and what they accomplished. He will be missed.

My sweet cousin was like a nephew to me. Only a few hours before God took him home he told me he loved me and my family and wished us a very Merry Christmas. He bought me flowers for no reason. There is no more pain for Sonny. He will be walking the streets of gold. God bless his mother and children, I pray for The Lord to keep them in the hollow of His hands. Go rest high on that mountain Sonny, I will see you again someday. Love you forever and always, Cynthia Butler

My sweet Brenda, Tay and, Tyler you're in my prayers as I ask God to give you strength and, love that you'll need during this time. Sonny was a friend and then become like family he introduced me to my husband of 20 years.Sonny shared his family with his friends everyone was always welcome at Sonny's/the hill. I remember Sonny along with Johnny Cannon and may he RIP as well coming out to our home spending the night oh they were going to sleep outside by the fire and be ready to go fishing the next day so they had they're sleeping bags out by the fire and so they did until about 3:am the next morning as Robert had put plenty of wood on the fire to keep it going for them during the night when I woke up about 5:30 or 6:00 they were both one was on the love seat one was on the couch covered up asleep it was funny they couldn't handle the cold up here they had to come in the house . We all laughed about it. And another thing I'll always remember and smile every time I think of it.. no matter where Sonny was at the time and on his cell and, talking to a friend or family member he would never hang up until he said to the person he was on the phone with that he loved them I don't care where he was at in a convenience store, in the house just sitting there at the table at Rick's Sonny would always end his conversations with I love you .. Soñny would give you the shirt off of his back. There are so many good memories. I could go on and on but Sonny RIP my dear friend. Love and prayers to all family and friends .Sonny we all will miss you.
