Sonny Fender

     Sonny Eugene Fender, 49, of Asheville, passed away, Saturday, December 24, 2022 at his residence.

     Sonny was born in Henderson County, NC on November 29, 1973, to Brenda Fender and the late Ricky Fender. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a faithful and God loving man who loved his family with all his heart. Sonny will be remembered for his kind nature and his love for people. He will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Brenda Fender; two children, Tyler and Taylor Fender; two grandchildren, Tristan and Ansley; a great niece, Kinsley; and many other family members and friends.

     A memorial service will be held at New Salem Baptist Church, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
