Sherri Lyn Thomas Snow

     Sherri Lyn Thomas Snow, 55, of Morganton, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at her residence.

     Sherri was born in Vermont, on January 25, 1971, to the late Sheryl Cram and Adrien Thomas, Sr. Over the years, Sherri was a foster mom to many kids. She loved NASCAR and was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Sheri was loved by all who knew her. Most of all, Sherri loved spending time with her grandbabies. They were the light of her world.

     In addition to her parents, Sherri was preceded in death by her step mother, Diane Thomas, who lovingly raised her and was the only mother she ever knew; her first husband, Leonard Snow, Jr.; her second husband, Kevin Auten; a brother, Travis Thomas; and a daughter in law, Tabitha Snow.

     Those left to cherish her memory include, seven children, Lenni Travis (Andrew), Adrienne Snow (Sade), Skyler Snow (Julie), Cheryl Bentley, Cheyenne McMillan (Doug), Carlos Bentley, and Casey Bentley; a sister, Melissa Oakes; two brothers, Paul Thomas (Ellen) and Adrien Thomas, Jr.; four grandchildren, Gabriel Travis, Benjamin Snow, Liam Travis, and Kai Bentley; her mother & father in law, Cindy and Bob Jardine; multiple nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Bobby Ledford.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
