Shelley Marie Turner Lawrence

Shelley Marie Turner Lawrence, 65, of Marion, passed away at Memorial Campus in Asheville on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Shelley was born in Ohio Co., West Virginia on September 18, 1957. She is the daughter of the late Gilbert Lee Turner and Betty Turner. Also preceding her in death is a son Jeremy Taylor.

She was a member of Providence Church. She enjoyed crafting, jewelry making, card making and adult coloring. Shelley also enjoyed collecting stuffed bears and watching the humming birds. She mostly loved her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of twenty-eight years John Lawrence; a son Christopher Taylor (Haley); sisters, Debbie Averitt (Fred) and Linda Gibson (Mike) and three grandchildren, Logan Taylor, Mason Taylor and Harley Taylor.

A Graveside Service will take place at Providence Church Cemetery on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Paul Baker officiating.
