Sharon Elizabeth Shaw

Sharon Elizabeth Shaw, 72, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, February 18, 2024. 

Sharon was born in Johnson City, TN. on June 15, 1951 to the late Billy Joe Shaw and the late Lucille Dillow Shaw.

Sharon was employed as a teacher for McDowell County Schools for over 30 years. She loved her grandchildren dearly, they were her world. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Hope Honeycutt and Heather Kidd; a sister, Pamela Sue Shaw; a brother, Steve Shaw; sister-in-law, Faye Bowman Shaw and two grandchildren, Kela Kidd and Macy Kidd.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Rev Larry Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
