Sharon "Goob" Seagle

Sharon “Goob” Causby Seagle, age 52, of Nebo, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 while spending time with her loved ones at one of her favorite vacation spots, Holden Beach, North Carolina.  The daughter of Betty Causby Curtis of Nebo and the late Allen R. Causby, she was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on January 10, 1965. 

Sharon, who liked the simple things in life, enjoyed wood carving and taking trips to the beach where she loved watching and listening to the seagulls. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her mother, Betty Causby Curtis (Gary); two daughters, Tabitha Seagle (Steven) and Andrea Seagle (Chris Arney); one brother, Bill Causby (Lisa); one sister, Carol Causby (Shawn); her two precious grandchildren, Calie Arney and CJ Arney; and her special cousin, Wayne Causby.  Sharon is also survived by two special friends, Bernice Toney and Jacquie Causby.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion with Pastor Donald Morrison and Mr. Wayne Causby officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
