Sharon Leigh Ferguson

     Sharon Leigh Ferguson, 63, of Marion, NC, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, in Marion.

     Sharon was born in McDowell County, NC on December 29, 1958, to the late Etta Mae Curtis and Albert Dixon Ferguson, Sr., with whom she will share a final resting place. Sharon enjoyed hiking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish her memory include a sister, Janet Conaway (Earl) of Bloomingdale, GA; a brother, Albert Ferguson, Jr. of Marion; two nieces, Coco Ferguson of Marion and Cassie Ferguson (Charles) of Old Fort; and three nephews, Tommy Ferguson (Faith) of Knoxville, TN, Chris Cannon of Marion, and Adam Cannon (Samantha) of Marion.

     A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church in Marion. Brother Jimmy Upton will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Morganton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the Church.
