Sharon Danielle Bailey

     Sharon Danielle Bailey, 44, of Marion, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026, at UNC Healthcare Blue Ridge in Morganton.

     Sharon was born in Burke County, NC, on October 2, 1981, to Ricky Allen Bailey and the late Linda Gail Lawing Bailey. Sharon was a free spirit with a fun-loving personality. She loved to smile and was known as the life of the party. She loved watching movies and reality TV shows, and was very outspoken. Sharon especially enjoyed being outdoors and spent countless hours on the river. She will always be loved and remembered by her many friends and family.

     In addition to her mother, Sharon was preceded in death by an infant son, Nicholas Chester.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her companion of many years, Jason Williams; her father, Ricky Bailey; six children, Ian Bailey, Isaac Chester (Karis Kadlec), Brandi Cable (Brick), Alexis Williams, Shyian White (Devlin), and Isaiah Brittain; two sisters, Trish Bailey and Tabitha Bailey (Mark Wilmot); and four grandchildren, Reya Bailey, Everett White, Viviette White, and Nova Cable.

     A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the home of Jason Williams, 756 Walnut Grove Drive, Nebo, NC 28761.
