Ruby Leigh Allison Pack

Ruby Leigh Allison Pack, 83, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday morning, December 28, 2022 at her residence.

A native of Old Fort, Ruby was born September 21, 1939 to the late Ernest Ervin Allison and Lillie Belle Wilson Allison. A son, Terry Curtis Gilliam; a sister, Virginia Allison precedes her in death.

Ruby formerly worked as a real estate broker. She was a member of Salem Free Will Baptist Church. She was a happy lady who enjoyed life to the fullest. Ruby was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her. She also enjoyed camping and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Troy Mitchell Pack; son, Tony Gilliam; six grandchildren, Jeff Sisk, Davy Gilliam, John Gilliam, Mitchell Gilliam, Michael Gilliam, and Jessie Gilliam; several great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and five siblings, Pauline Crisp, J.C. Allison, Ray Allison, and Faye Allison.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Vincent White officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Springs Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
