Ruby Krause Adkins

Ruby Krause Adkins, age 93, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at CarePartners
Hospice Solace Center. She was born on, January 27, 1930, to the late Charles and Minnie Hicks
Krause.
Ruby enjoyed listening to live Blue Grass music, she also loved to dance and travel, when she was
able. Her favorite past time was watching Gun Smoke, she watched every episode many times. Also,
she enjoyed her flowers and watching the hummingbirds on her porch. She worked for 35+ years at
Marion Manufacturing – Marion Fabrics. She was tickled to see her fifth generation born. Ruby loved
her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and that sweet great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurstle Adkins and her two sons, Michael Adkins and
Donald Adkins.
Left to cherish her memory is her two daughters, Sue Morgan and Donna Adkins; five grandchildren;
eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Per Ruby’s wishes, no public service will be held.
