Roy Lee Roland

Mr. Roy Lee Roland, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. He was born to the late Troy Lee and Betty Jo Pyatt Roland, on March 04, 1966, in McDowell County, North Carolina.

Roy enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He was known as a very talented carpenter and will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his two step-sons, Matthew Lamb (Stacy) and Mark Lamb (Loren); one brother, Donnie Roland (Amie) and one sister, Jo Anne Sherman; two step-grandchildren, Riley and Mason; nieces, Sierra Wylie (Tory) and Chelsea Sherman (Lorenzo) and nephews, Austin Roland (Sierra) and Travis Sherman.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Donald Justice officiating.
