Rosella Racht

Rosella Lunsford Racht, age 63, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away following a brief illness on Thursday, August 06, 2020 at Atrium Health’s Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.  The daughter of the late William and Tilda Anders Lunsford, Rosella was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina on February 10, 1957.

A loving mother and grandmother, Rosella enjoyed reading and cooking, but most of all, she loved just being with her family. 

Left to cherish her precious memories are one daughter, Gabrielle Racht Jones (Jonathan); one son, Tim Parton (Alexis Freeman); one brother, Eddie Lunsford (Tammy); and one sister, Tammy Letterman (Rick).  Rosella is also survived by four grandchildren, Chole, Miranda, Dakota and Braxston; and nieces and nephews, E.J., Jason, Mandy and Tesa.

A celebration of Rosella’s life will be held at a later date.
