Rose Marie King

Rose Marie Benwell King, age 78, of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, passed away on the evening of Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Restwell Home.

A native of Somerset, Massachusetts, she was born on January 17, 1942.

She worked for many years as a laborer in the textile industry. Known as a gentle, generous, loving, and humble lady, she also had a stubborn side. She was a good wife to her late husband, Robert King, and took great care of her home and her children.

She is survived by her five children, Steven King, Robert King, Jr., Patrick King, Kim Fuller, and Norman King; and eleven grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are scheduled at this time.
