Rosa Maria Anthony

Rosa Maria Anthony, born on May 6, 1944, transitioned peacefully from this life on October 16, 2025, at her residence. She was a dedicated member of the community, known for her warm spirit and kind heart. Rosa's professional journey included roles at Clinchfield Mills and Merimont.

A proud graduate of Glenwood High School, Class of 1962, Rosa carried the values of education and perseverance throughout her life. She was a former member of the Dysartsville Baptist Church, where she found strength and fellowship among her peers. Rosa was deeply committed to her interests, finding joy in croqueting and immersing herself in the pages of captivating books.

Rosa is survived by several cousins and many special friends who cherish the memories shared with her. Her beloved dog, Lucy, was more than a pet; she was a steadfast companion who brought comfort and joy.

Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Anthony, and her special son, Jeff Mills. She was also reunited with her parents, Samuel and Katie Suttles.

A visitation will be held to honor her memory on October 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752.

Rosa Maria Anthony will be remembered for her loving nature, her contributions to those around her, and the cherished moments that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
