I had the pleasure of being Harveys dispatcher at the Sheriffs office when he began working there. He was one of my favorites from day one. Any time we saw each other or spoke on the phone wed both say Love you mean it. I will miss Harvey very much.

I Knew Ronnie since February 23 1998, The Day I started with The NCDOC ,, Many Many times he'd help me out ,,, set me straight and keep a eye on me , to Guide me while I was learning . We became very good friends and he never approached , unless making the greeting ,," Hey Bow ,,,How ya doing my friend " . Many Tributes to Harvey , wasn't self proclaimed , but witnessed and shared by others that knew him. I've watched him run for hrs. at the Prison on his off days to stay in shape. I Heard several tails , while he would be working a Escape and on the " PERT Team" ,, " Ole Harvey a Run a track dog to death ,,, if he don't stop and let the dog rest & Get some water" ! He was truly a dedicated man to his Family, Country , Community and friends ! Isaiah 40:31 They That Wait Upon The Lord, Shall Renew Their Strength, They Shall Mount Up with Wings of Eagles, They Shall Run and Not Be Weary Walk and not faint !

Brandi Harvey Apr 28 2021 12:00 AM

I first met Ronnie in the 70s when I went to work at East Court Motors. I was 15 and this was my first real job and knew little of the work environment. He spent a lot of time showing me the ropes of how to do things and how to do them right. I now look back thinking how lucky I was to have someone like him to coach me of how to be a good employee and get things done right. Thank you for spending your time to help me.
Thoughts and prayers to all the Family and friends during this time of loss. RIP Old Friend
