Ronald Vestie Brown

     Ronald Vestie Brown, 72, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Catawba Caring Hospice House in Newton.

     Ronald was born in McDowell County, NC on July 3, 1953, to the late Fred Vestie Brown and Dolly Marie Blankenship Brown. Ronald was a naturally talented craftsman who enjoyed woodworking. He will always be remembered for his excellent carpentry skills. He also enjoyed watching western movies and TV shows. Most of all, he was a loving father, brother, and son. His family was the light of his life. He always be loved and remembered.

     In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Brown and Richard Brown; and two sisters, Tina Brown Parker and Ella Loretta Brown Kilpatrick.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Betty Brown; a son, Eric Wilson; a sister, Darlene Hines (William); special nephews, Johnny Parker and Jeffrey Sisk; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
