Robert Lee Trivette

Robert Lee Trivette, 88, of Newland, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at his residence.

A native of Avery County, he was born September 4, 1937 to the late Alvin E. Trivette and Dovie Isaacs Trivette.

Robert was a member of Yellow Mountain Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, and he also enjoyed farming and working in the garden. Robert cherished trips made to Cherokee. He had an infectious personality and loved a good laugh. Joking with family and friends brought him great joy.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy Beers Trivette; a sister, Jean Jones; a host of nieces and nephews that he dearly loved; and special friends, Jeff and Kim Phillips.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Yellow Mountain Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Brent Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Trivette Family Cemetery.
