Robert Frank Rumfelt, Jr.

     Robert Frank Rumfelt, Jr., 51, of Marion, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville.

     Robert was born in Marion to the late Robert Frank Rumfelt, Sr. and Sarah Doris Broadwell Rumfelt. He was married to Kimberly Poole. Robert was a windows and siding installer who liked to build things. He was a very likeable person who never knew a stranger. Most of all, he loved spending time with his son. He will be greatly missed.

     In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by an uncle, W.T. Broadwell.

     He is survived by his wife, Kim Poole of Marion; four sons, Dylan Poole of Marion, Mason Clontz of Marion, Robby Poole of Tucson, Arizona, and Nathan Poole (Bree Harvey) of Tucson; a sister, Denise Gibson (James) of Marion; a brother, Keith Rumfelt (Tammy) of Marion; a half sister, Rachel Annedell of Spartanburg, SC; a step sister, Donna Faye Silver of Marion; a step brother, Donald Dulney of Marion; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
