Robert Russell Coward, Jr.

Robert Russell Coward Jr. age 73, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville, North Carolina. He was born on June 28th, 1951, in Haywood County, North Carolina, to the late Robert and Margaret Coward.

Robert enjoyed farming and cooking. He also enjoyed being outdoors where he loved to play softball and go camping. Robert loved his family, especially the grandchildren, and will be missed by all that knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Patricia Wingate Coward; two children, Tonya Coward Davis (Joseph), Kevin Coward; brother Bill Coward (Vanita); three grandchildren, Heath Coward, Megan Coward, and Chayden Coward; five great-grandchildren, Christian, Addison, Madisyn, Magnolia and James; and one great-great grandson, Mateo.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
