Robert (Bob) E. Swickard

Mr. Bob Swickard, age 67, of Newland, North Carolina, passed away at Watauga Medical Center on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. He was born in Lake County, Indiana on December 1, 1953 to the late Everett Marshall Swickard Jr. (Moose) and Mary Louise Chappelear Swickard.

Bob was greeted in Heaven by many loved ones; first and foremost the love of his life, Connie Swickard; his son, Bryan Alan Swickard; and his paternal grandmother, Hap Snodgrass.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Baker (Rob) of Bakersville, North Carolina; two brothers, Marshall Swickard and Jack Swickard (Louise); eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

Bob loved his family greatly and loved to bring joy to everyone through playing jokes. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Cubs. He’ll be missed by all who knew him
