Ricky Dee Gouge

Ricky Dee Gouge, 55, of Marion, unexpectedly departed this life on Sunday, November 26, 2023 in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Ricky was a native of McDowell County and was born on January 6, 1968. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Honeycutt Gouge; grandmother, Thelma Lee Harvey; and an uncle, Peewee Johnson.

Ricky was an avid Fisherman, a passionate Hunter, a Jokester and Friend to many. To know Ricky was to love him. He would enter a room and make every single person there smile, with his presence, with his boisterous laughter, and with his keen sense of humor. Our light is a little dimmer here on earth, but we know that heaven is shining a bit brighter today because his presence is now there.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Natalie Boone Gouge; son, Tanner Seth Gouge; father, Raymond Dee Gouge; three sisters, Jacque Gouge Mentink (Bill), Janet Gouge Bryan (Greg), and Rebecca Gouge Parker (Greg); and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who were all very special to him.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
