Ricky Lee Elliott

     Ricky Lee Elliott, 71, of Spruce Pine, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at his residence.

     Ricky was born in Spruce Pine, NC on December 9, 1951, to the late Obie Lee Elliott and Beatrice Marie Honeycutt Elliott. He was married to his wife of 49 years, Louann Wise Elliott. Ricky was an outdoorsman who loved fishing. He enjoyed WWE Wrestling and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Louann Elliott; two children, Joni O’Connor (John) and Joanna Rhymer (Greg); his sister, Vicky Hall; five grandchildren, Hunter O’Connor, Cheyenne Tipton, Madison O’Connor, Connor Rhymer, and Lucas Rhymer; four great grandchildren, Sebastian O’Connor, Tobias Tipton, Koba Blackwell, and Kylian Tipton; and his special nieces and nephews, Harley Ledford, A.J. Hall, Zaiden Ledford, Kaia Ledford, and Taiden Norwood.

     The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2023, at Beam Funeral Service.
