Rhonda Celia Ramsey Silver

Rhonda Celia Ramsey Silver, 67, of Marion, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Autumn Care of Marion.

She was born in Buncombe County on July 7, 1958 to the late Cecil Ramsey and Joann Fox Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Silver.

Rhonda found her calling in her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her work was much more than a profession; it was an expression of her deep compassion and kindness. She truly enjoyed caring for her patients, never hesitating to offer a comforting word or a helping hand.

Rhonda especially delighted in shopping adventures, and being on the water held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed being on the lake, taking part in boating and watersports, and hosting cookouts with friends and loved ones. Rhonda’s love extended to her animal companions, and over the years, her home was graced by many animals who received her affection and care.

She is survived by her children, Russell Williams (Jennifer) and Cynthia Crowder; one grandson, Kyle Crowder; one brother, Clyde Ramsey; and one sister, Janet Reed (Danny).
