Rhonda was a founding member of Ashworth Road Baptist Church. She was known for being a kind hearted woman who loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Her hobbies were knitting and watching Hallmark movies.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kristyn Brown (Danny) and Rebecca Lanning (Stewart) and her six grandchildren, Danny Brown Jr., Jacob Brown, Landyn Brown, Lacy Brown, Caroline Brown and Cora Lanning.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Gary Webb officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at her residence; 1032 Ashworth Road, Marion, NC 28752.

We met at West Marion Elementary. We stayed in touch thru high school and churches. She went to college and I went to the Air Force. I never heard of her anymore until my grandson was playing football. Her son in law Danny was his coach. She was still just as good a friend to me as ever even thru all the years. She had achieved more than anyone can ask for in life. She raised 2 of the most wonderful, generous and loving girls that you would want to meet. She showed that she loved them, their spouses & all of her grandchildren unconditionally.I am proud to call her my friend and be able to call them my FRIENDS!! May God bless and comfort all of your hearts during this time. Rhonda has said goodbye to this earthly body and is present with the Lord. Our loss is surely Heavens gain. She will be missed but not forgotten. If Sheila and I can help in any way, please dont hesitate to ask. Love you all Herman (Paw Paw) & Sheila (Nana)
