Reta Lynn McGraw Berry

Reta Lynn McGraw Berry, age 64, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

A native of Gilbert, West Virginia, Reta was born August 22, 1961 to the late Robert and Ruby Cline McGraw.

Reta spent her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a profession that she truly enjoyed. After moving to North Carolina in 1995, her career was mainly spent at Grace Heights Health and Rehabilitation where she made a difference in the lives of many patients who were dear to her. Her family was a big blessing in her life, and time spent with them always did her heart good. Reta took great pride in caring for her family and her home. A devout Christian, Reta loved the Lord and spent much time reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bobby” McGraw.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Greg Berry; four children, Rachael McLean (Nathan), Tessa Cline (Eric), Shamus Berry, and Shannon Bratton (Craig); five grandchildren, Braelynn McLean, Aalyiah McLean (Chase), Taylor Cline, Jacob Bratton, and Emily Bratton; great-grandchild, Beckett; and her sister, Regena Sloan.

Services will be private for the family.
