Rebecca Gail Presnell

Rebecca Gail Presnell, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 30, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on July 18, 1965, Rebecca was known for her creative spirit and deep love for her family.

A proud daughter of Ernest Wilson and Donna Taylor, Rebecca's artistic talent illuminated her life. She was a very crafty individual, enjoying activities such as sewing and painting. Her free time was often spent tending to her yard, a testament to her commitment to nurturing beauty and life around her. Rebecca took great pride in her handiwork, reflecting her dedication and care in everything she did.

Rebecca cherished her family deeply, and her legacy lives on through her children, Melinda Woody and Jason, Jeremy Deyton and Erica, Alisha Deyton and Timmy Townsend, Tandra Presnell and Ricky Shane Presnell. She was a devoted grandmother to Tyler, Traytin, Teeairah, Malachi, Dawna, Elisha, Payton, Dylan, Dustin, Jonathon, Journey, Dante, Dameon, Riley and Dakotah and was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Kida, Ah'lyrah, Zai'yaire and Ah'lanni. Each grandchild and great-grandchild held a special place in her heart, and her love for them was boundless.

Her siblings, Donna Wilson, Starla Wilson, Shelly Wilson, James Wilson, and Lori Wilson, will also remember her fondly.

Rebecca had a special bond with her canine companion, Rosie, who provided her comfort and companionship over the years. 

In her leisure time, Rebecca enjoyed watching NFL games, which not only entertained her but also added an element of excitement to her life, further showcasing her vibrant personality.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ricky Presnell, and her loving parents, Ernest Wilson and Donna Taylor. 

Rebecca's presence will be sorely missed, yet her spirit will continue to resonate through the hearts of all who were privileged to know her. Her life was a masterpiece crafted with love, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
