Randy Lee Blankenship

Randy Lee Blankenship, age 64, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Carolinas HealthCare Blue Ridge in Morganton, North Carolina.  The son of Catherine Juanita Boone of Marion, North Carolina and the late Roy Lee Blankenship, Randy was born in High Point, North Carolina on June 28, 1956.

A loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather and brother, Randy retired from Auria Solutions, formerly IAC in Old Fort.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting and he had a true passion for carp fishing.  He truly loved to take his grandchildren hunting and fishing.  Randy was a loving brother of the G.R.M.C.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his loving wife of 39 years, Karen Blankenship; three children, Karen Raber (Aden), Ryan Blankenship (Shana) and Ashley Hughes (Matthew); one brother, Tony Blankenship (Donna); eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 03, 2021 at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.  A celebration of Randy’s life will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. David Edwards and Pastor Lonnie Smith officiating.
