Ralph Michael Elliott

Ralph Michael Elliott, 69, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Ralph was born in McDowell County, NC, on December 18, 1955, to the late James Marlowe Elliott and Elva Washburn Elliott. He was a Christian who enjoyed reading the Bible. Ralph was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing and was a fan of NASCAR and wrestling. He also enjoyed dancing. Most of all, Ralph was a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He will always be loved and remembered.

Those left to cherish his memory include his life partner of 25 years, Doris Lawson; a daughter, Mindy Kidd (Aaron); a son, Glenn Elliott (Samantha); a sister, Sondra Smith (Jay); two brothers, Van Elliott (Becky) and Larry Elliott (Nicole); seven grandchildren, Jordan Jacobs (Chad), Nathan Davis, Alyssa McMahan, Skylar Cable, Jasmine Cable (Seth), Kylie Elliott, and Elaina Elliott; and three great grandchildren, Brayden, Melanie, and Delilah.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Glenn Elliott will officiate. Burial will follow at Turkey Cove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
