Queenie Hollifield Edwards

Queenie Hollifield Edwards, 95, of Marion, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Queenie was born in Mitchell County on April 04, 1927 to the late Daniel Bruce Hollifield and the late Mattie Hollifield. She enjoyed reading and was known as a wonderful cook. Queenie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Baxter Edwards, Sr.; three sons, four daughters and three granddaughters.

Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Brenda Hall (Charlie), Kim Edwards and Sarah Edwards along with numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at Grassy Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service.
