Pauline Cina Burnette Davis Hudson

Pauline Cina Burnette Davis Hudson, 95, of Marion went to be with the Lord at her residence on the night of Friday, March 22, 2024.

Pauline was born in Yancey County to the late Preston H. Burnette and the late Hattie Ellen Rector Burnette on September 27, 1928. She is also preceded in death by five brothers and a grandchild.

Pauline enjoyed telling her loved ones about her childhood growing up in the hills on the South Toe River. She was also known as a great cook and loved cooking for her family. Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior and her family thought she was one of God’s greatest creations.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Arvle Davis (Jane) of Asheville and Randy Davis (Cindy) of Marion; a sister Annie McKinney and three grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
